First post - preparations

Toronto, ON (Days -63 to -60)
As you're probably aware, bureaucracy is a French word, and rightly so.  Thus, we gathered up all our things and trooped off to the French consulate in Toronto to apply for visas.  "The personal interview is mandatory", as it says on their website.  At least we can make a little trip out of it and get this blog tested!  So here are the highlights of days -63 to -60 of our trip to France:

Pictured are three of our destinations: the CN Tower, the Ripley's Aquarium, and a day with Aunt Pat and Uncle Norval (and their children, grandchildren, dogs, etc.). We also went to the Hockey Hall of Fame and David and Yolanda went to a Blue Jays game (Andrew wasn't interested).
